I kinda thought this article was a good definition of quid pro quo: http://www.virginislandsdailynews.com/index.pl/article_home?id=17591924

Cute, so we can say the neither DeJongh or Richards are the choice of Mr. Prosser?

I'm not sure Mr. Prosser's endorsement would be a good one for a candidate to get! What's good for Mr. Prosser (Innovative) often isn't good for the residents of the islands.

DL and Alexandra, maybe I'm incorrect but I rather think that you misinterpreted the responses of both Ronnie and I. It's sort of an inside thing and has to do with knowledge of the history of the present gubernatorial contenders and their running mates. Sort of like the comparison between corruption and not? Hope for change or the same old same old? I shall say no more!

I couldn't get the story link to open, so was just commenting on my reaction to the thought of candidates possibly chasing to get an endorsement from Prosser. You two may have your own subtext in mind, but I still stand by my comment. lol
