PMV to STX March 2015

Looking for a place to stay. Coming with my daughter and her two children, 9 & 13. So... would like to have a place with pool and/or beach so they don't get bored. March 28 - April 3, must come during Spring Break because of children. They are not planning to move to STX, just coming for the week, daughter helping me check things out. Would like to be somewhere around Christensted because that's where I would like to live. (retired, may look for part time job).

So all that "want" and still wish to keep costs down. If anyone has a suggestion that would be great. We have been checking out some places from guide book and will also look at www.flipkey and vrbo. Thanks if anyone has recommendations, if not we'll figure it out.

Are two places that may work for you in your hybrid PMV / vacation .

Dante, thanks for recommended Villa Margarita but we are an all adult facility. We cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 18.

Thanks Speee1dy. Mill Harbor Beach Resort looks really nice. I have passed along info to my daughter. I'm looking for long term in the vicinity of Christensted, not in town. Hope to find a reasonable furnished studio, 6 mos lease.

Thanks Dante and Margaritaville. Checking out Arawak Bay, looks like their rooms have two beds, there may be 5 of us.

I appreciate the input!

Lmarion - Mill Harbor would be a good place to do a PMV and they are definitely more suited for 5 ppl but they are not studios. There are 2 & 3 bd units. I may have other suggestions but am trying to understand your needs. Reading your posts it looked like you were seeking a 6 mo studio rental, but then said there were 5 of you. I can't imagine you'd want 5 people in a studio, and I don't know any landlord who would allow it.

Are you looking for a 6 mo studio for you, and a 1 week rental for your daughter & grandchildren?

The PMV is with family members. The move is to be solo.

Hi there, my husband and I just stayed a week at Colony Cove condos right in the beautiful beach with a fantastic pool. I would totally recommend it, check with VRBO and the owners name is Judy, she is also wonderful. Have fun
