PMV information
Good Afternoon.
We are planning a move in a couple years when we retire. Have read lots of the posts on here. We would like some input as to the following areas that we are looking at. The Orange Grove area in Company Quarters; The Bay Garden in Golden Rock Company Quarters, and the Carlton WE area.
We have lived in several areas of the US, to include NYC, Minneapolis, MN; Indianapolis, IN; and Atlanta, GA. We currently reside in the Northern Kentucky area South of Cincinnati, OH. So we understand the crime element, just do not want to be in the middle of it. And the drug problem here is shocking.
We will be coming for 2 months at a time over the next year or so.... until we make the move.
We have no children at home to worry about, just the two of us.
Thank you for the help. Looking forward to our first visit.
Kind Regards,
Bill & Joyce
Well i just checked out bay gardens... its okay. Its gated which was great for security. Cheap prices. It is old. I decided not to lease the place as I enjoy privacy and found a much cleaner place for same price. Ocean view not even worth it.
I will say online listings for places are so misleading. Even renting from a realtor website they are using pics that are 10 years old.
Thanks for the input. Could you PM us some additional information you might deem helpful.
I realize people don't want to come on here and "bash" some places, just makes it harder to pick a place to check out.
We are going over this fall for 2 months, my wife and a couple of her friends are going to stay for about 3 months. We would like to locate
a relatively safe area that we can look into as we are contemplating buying and retiring there. We have 6 inches of snow here now, 3 to 4 more coming tonight along with ice...Nice.
Thanks again for the assist.
Kind Regards,
Bill & Joyce
Bay garden is not bad if you are looking for a bargain and is short term. It is very conveinient to Christiansted. It is as safe as anywhere else.
