This forum is, as is clearly stated on the front page, a forum for people LIVING IN THE VI, not just moving here. Nothing the OP mentioned is off-topic. Don't send them away.

Dude, I so do not need your direction on how to use this forum. My point was only that the info the OP was seeking was absolutely on topic for this forum. The other forum of which you should speak is the redundancy vis-a-vis "LIVING IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS".

If you want to talk continental politics or French hairdressers in Paris, the other forum is for you.

You're entirely missing the point and maybe you do need some direction on how to use this site. There are not just two forums on this site, there are FOUR and there is a community forum already in place and the OP did mean to post there as she already noted ...

That's all I was saying Ms Tramm. As OT says, there are 4(four) forums.

I have a great sense of humor. I just don't see the point in you always being so rude and negative to people so regularly. It's quite a turn-off.

The OP was encouraging posters to contribute to the Community forum and on which she intended to post. Only one poster is antagonistically muddying the waters here on a very simple thread and making a mountain out of a molehill.

I did. It's a great forum. It has nothing to do with "living in the V.I.", but rather is a place to discuss things unrelated to "living in the V.I."

It's a place to post community activities or notices for events here in the Virgin Islands for those of us living in the Virgin Islands to be aware of.

How many different ways does it have to be explained to you that there are FOUR forums on this site, one of which is NOT the new forum "Under the Coconut Tree" which you persist in referencing but a separate forum entitled "Community"?

I agree with Ronnie wholeheartedly. Blind or simply obtuse, time to stop beating a dead horse, get your facts in order and then, if you feel so inclined, mutter a little, "my bad" and then leave well alone.

Great suggestion Beachcomber! :@) And just an idea, but cell phones make it easy to snap a photo of community event flyers! And then the details can be shared on the Community sub-forum.

Going to close this thread... but just to clarify... there are currently four sub-forums:

1. General/Relocating (the forum you are on right now)

2. USVI Classifieds

3. Community (forum for events, plays, camps, dance lessons, sport events, teams and so forth...)

4. Under a Coconut Tree (for off topic)

All four can be seen by clicking "Forum List" in the message board options at the top of the board.
