Anyone know of A Jon Ducey who lived on St. Croix? He lived on St. Croix for 30+ years, If anyone has any info on him, please let me know..thanks

There's a Jane Ducey listed in the phone book. Go to www.viphonebook.com, search residential listings. She lives on St. Croix. Same spelling, maybe she can help.

Yes, that was my grandmother, she has been dead for the past 18 years. And Jon Ducey was my uncle, he just died a year ago. I wanted more information on him, I just wanted to chat with people who knew him. I wish he was here.

Emily, sorry for your loss. You seem to miss your grandfather greatly.
One question:
I'm sorry, but do I understand correctly that your grandmother has been deceased for 18 years and is STILL listed in the phone book?
Innovative charges me $$$ every month to have my phone listed, how did they make such a boo-boo?
Maybe you have family that is taking care of bills and could share some info?

Maybe after my grandmother died, my uncle never made any changes, and left her name with the phone records? That's my best guess.
I've been to St. Croix many times, since I was an infant, it's a second home to us. I am very excited that I will be there in August. It's just that now that I am 20, I would like to mingle more with people my age there, I wish I knew places where people my age get together.

Sorry for my poor reading comprehension--I missed that Jon Ducey was your uncle, not your grandfather.
Try starting a new thread aksing for youth activites on STX. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyplace. I am sure, however, that someone on the board can help you.
Good luck with finding more family info and a place to hang out!
