The new 3GS iPhones do video. I have an iPhone 3GS 32GB.

I was pretty surprised. I flew all the way around STX and took video most of the way and only used 1.5 GB and 50% of my battery.

Next time I am going to take the doors off so I don't get the reflections from the plexiglass and I am going to try landscape mode instead of portrait mode.

I feel bad. Being an ex microsoft guy my friends all consider me a traitor.

Thanks for the ride. I was getting done from diving when you flew over at Cane Bay. The sail boat was just behind me.

oh rotorhead, you should be so ashamed of yourself. ex ms employee and all. but how do you like the new iphone is it all that people say it is. and really how much stuff ( aps, music photos ) can you store on it?

Michael,

I am even considering getting a Mac so that I can write iPhone apps. It requires an Intel based Mac running OS X or later. Still, I do not consider MS to be the dark side. It's the best company I ever worked for, the brightest people I ever worked with. And I worked for a number of computer companies in my 25 years of operating systems software development.

NT was architected by Dave Cutler formerly of DEC and one of the best OS guys around

No disrespect for you. More of a devilment kinda thing from an old DOS dog..
I do think Gates used some pretty low tactics building his empire.....
BUT I SURELY do not want to start an OS religious thread! (even though I run various distros on several machines)

I think that gates deserved everything he has.
Like Howard Hughes told the senate investigating committee when they were looking into his monopoly on oil drilling bits. " They don't have to rent mine, they can use a shovel".
If someone had a better system, it would be on top of MS. Yes I know there are many Mac users that say it is better, but the market share says otherwise.
Why shouldn't he protect his empire?
