what does it matter to which party a political candidate is affiliated with? If a particular candidate resonates with you then what does it matter if he or she runs under the banner of republican, democrat, independent or pie-in-the-sky loony?
Well I think it makes sense to vote for the candidate who I think is best headed in the direction I agree with as noted. Now if there are two or more candidates that happened to fit that bill in different parties then I would certainly consider what direction the party wants to go in.
