Piaa, About your STJ Move?

Hi Yolanda,
Congratulations on your move ....whoooo, Anyway we are already on island - one week ago today, but, we arrived late Friday evening, Saturday hubby went to the clinic on STJ where they sent him to STT and he was admitted and had surgery Sunday morning 🙁 (second emergency surgery in 5 weeks, the last being in Florida on his way home from STJ to pack our container) He is ok now and was discharged on Wednesday afternoon, so it had really been quite a week and we have really only had 2 actual days on STJ (yesterday included a call to the surgeon on STT due to some problems - but all is well) Our container was unloaded yesterday, boy was that was a very interesting day and a test on my new found "island attitude" 🙂 We moved from Kansas City and drove our things down to West Palm Beach to be shipped and must say all went well. Where are you moving from? are you bringing stuff with you? where are you staying? I'm sure all will be great with your move and again congratulations on your move to your new home. Hope to get together on island if not before at the get together in November.

We live near Skinny's 🙂 If I don't run into you there I'll see you at the get together in Nov (I'm sure I'll run into you though) I'm 5'2" and hubby is 6'2" - when he's not bent over 🙂 Henry will know who we are - if he's cooking ask who the Kansas City transplants are !!!!

Piaa- What part of KC were you from? Wife and I were down on STT last year for her to find a place to live and just couldn't get anything. We have decided that we need to stay in KC for a couple more years before we even try to move. We will be back on STJ from 12/9-12/16 for vacation. Bringing parents along as they have never been out of Kansas before and are getting up there in age. Hope everything is well and hope husband is getting better!!

We were from Westwood Road - just a few minutes walk from the Plaza. I also lived out south (191st and Quivera) for a few years, but have also lived at College and Quivera - so you can see quite a few places 🙂 Where in KC are you? and where are are you staying in Dec? I'm sure your parents will LOVE STJ and there is no better place for a "first time out of Kansas" visit. Maybe we will snorkel into each other in Dec? Happy travels. Oh, hubby is doing great - thanks for asking 🙂

We lived in Olathe for about 5 years and that started taking it's toll on me, so we have since moved out South of Gardner, west of Spring Hill on 3 acres. We will be staying at the Westin (timeshare) so looking forward to our trip again. This will be our 3rd trip in 3 years, just hope the parents love it as much as we do. Corona's at the beach.....:) 🙂

Well , well I was just in skinny last night . my boy friend is Joseph everyone knows him. tonight is darts and he will be there I might not.Iam in the StJohn Lib, my move was smooth , just miss my kids. and havent started to work yet, so things are a little slow right now. Have a beautiful place up from Island Blues. We may have already met, and didnt even know it! If you meet up with Joseph tonight and Iam not there give him your number and I will call you. Ok
