Last night my dumb phone rang while I was driving and didn't answer it. When I got to my destination I looked and the number on the phone was: 1-111-111-111. Pretty weird I thought, especially since it didn't contain the last number. Was talking to friends about it and one did some searching on her 'smart phone'. What she found was that if answered it would wreak havoc on my phone and told me to delete it from the call log, which I did.
Don't know if anyone else has seen this but thought it a good idea to pass along the info...

It happened to a friend of mine the other day. The voicemail number showed the ones, but it was someone she had tried to contact and was able to return the call because of the voicemail.

I never answer calls to my cell phone unless the number is already in my cell phone book, especially if they have weird numbers.

Same here. You could return a call to a 'by the call service' and get whacked with a charge on your bill.
