Pharmacists wanted??
I was wondering what the demand is for highly experienced pharmacists down in STT? Also is it necessary to take some sort of USVI pharmacy board test or whatever? As some of you may know in the states, some states require you to take their board exam if you want to work in their state while others will just accept the board exam you passed initially in your home state. So I was wondering if the USVI will just accept the pharmacy license as is or make you take "their" test?
Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs has a website. Sorry I don't know the address, but you could google DLCA Virgin Islands.
Last time someone asked there was no reciprocity; they had to take the USVI test. Also, pay for experienced pharmacists here is not even close to stateside pay.
I went to the website but there was nothing on there concerning pharmacy licenses. I saw a bunch of other professions but no pharmacists so does anyone know if the license, from Ohio, is transferable to the USVI? Also when you say the salaries are lower in the USVI as compared to the states how much are we talking about?
