Does anyone know what kind of pet food they sell on the island? I feed my cats either Nutro or Science Diet. These are more expensive brands. Will I be able to find these? Odd question, I know.

Yes, you can get all kinds of special diet pet foods. I've been buying mine from Market Square Pet Supply next to Cost-U-Less (Science Diet.) Don't know if they carry Nutro but I'm quite sure they'd order if if they don't. I'm assuming you're talking about St. Thomas, by the way?

You can find all kinds of pet foods that you would find in the states. Iams, Science Diet, Eucauba etc. The higher end ones are available at Purly paws shop at American yacht harbour in Red Hook. I have two island coconut retrievers that have been living on Iams for 13 years!!

I know Imperial Animal Hosp. on STT sells Science Diet. I have not seen Nutro (my kitties used to love that stuff!).
That said, don't forget we are on the USPS system here, so if you find an online pet store they may be able to ship you specialty foods.

Doesn't Imperial Animal Hospital have a connection with the pet supply place by Cost-U-Less? Dr. Moore in Red Hook also sells Science Diet.
