*We are moving to St.Thomas, my husband has rented a house that will not allow my small dog. I cannot leave her in the states. I need to find a person or kennel/ vet that can keep her at night until I find another house. I would like information on persons that pet sit or boarding facilities.

The only kennel facility of which I am aware is with the veterinarian, Dr. Andy Williamson. 340-775-3240.

All of my animals are in Dr. Williamson's care and he is a very capable and caring vet. That said, I would not recommend boarding the pooch there nightly if your home is not on the East End of the island. I live on the Northside and personally consider it a trek to get the pets out there for a bi-yearly visit. If travelling might be a problem for you, try contacting Debbie's Dedicated Dogs in Mandela Circle (she does grooming and might do boarding) or Imperial Canines (vet). Also, someone in an earlier post w/in the last week mentioned another vet with boarding capability (can't recall the name). Good luck and I hope that you find dog-friendly housing soon!

Found the previous post right under my nose:
It is entitled Housing for kittens.

Boy, it's been a long day!
