Our (Petty) Theft Encounter at Rainbow Beach

2 years ago  we had our belongings stolen while snorkelling the pier.  We had left our towels,  flip flops and  cheap sunglasses  on shore on the beach by the fort.   For years now we have also had problems with locals jumping off the pier,  while we are snorkelling,  and trying to jump right on us. 

It's not okay and obnoxious behavior.   We avoid the area now and unfortunately local businesses suffer.
