Orionid Meteor Showers Tonight

The Orionid Meteor Showers peak tonight - just before sunrise actually. Look to the southeast just before sunrise.

You got me up K,

There was a good bit of cloud cover coming from the SE this am. I looked hard but never saw one. Now I'm up moving and the sun is just breaking. Beautiful regardless.

We got up at 4:00 AM. Probably a bit too early but we figured that was better than missing it all together. We had about 15 minutes of clear sky before the clouds moved in. We saw 4 or 5 within that time. Pretty neat but not as spectacular as I thought it would be.

As long as you can see Orion you ought to see the meteors. Look to the north of Orion.

i saw alot of shooting stars around 5 a.m. was that meteors??? saw about 3.....cool
