I may be wrong but I think there is one word in this ad that suggests it may be a scam Be careful everyone when checking out online ads. If I am wrong I will delete this post.
$700 / 1br - Amenities include: Refrigerator, (St John)
1BR / 1Ba furnished apartment available now
no smoking
Amenities include: Refrigerator, Stove, Water Heater, Central A/C, Washer/Dryer hookups, Ceiling Fans in bedrooms and dining area, Typhoon Shutters, and Front/Rear Balconies. Weekly trash pickup service included in rent.

On craigslist? Could well be as there are several suspect signs. Those I can't immediately dismiss (and tag) as scams (heat included!) I sometimes play with and send an enquiry through craigslist or an anonymous email address. The response is usually prompt and immediately shows whether or not it's genuine.

The use of "Typhoon" shutter is what I was referring too. Yes this is a Craigslist Ad. Many of the scams originate from areas on the other side of the word that use the term Typhoon instead of Hurricane.

More than that. The rent is very low for St John and particularly for a unit which boasts front and back porches and central A/C. "Amenities" don't usually include "water heater" and usually only if the landlord is personally providing that trash pick-up is it generally available.
Contact them and ask for details and appointment to view.

It's a scam. I wrote and got this answer. Note the HEATED parking stall. 😮

When I used to have more free time, I used to play the scammers, even sending fake Western Union receipts so they at least wasted their time going to the office (more than once) thinking they had hit payday.Nowadays they all want paypal.

Well I was idling for a bit so wrote and asked for pics ... I don't play nearly as much as I used to but it's fun once in a while to string 'em along. The ad has been removed from CL.

If anybody would like to see the letter I received back and the attached pics, PM your email address and I'll forward. It makes a wonderful "Laugh Of The Day"! Apart from everything else, the $700 1BR apartment is now a 2BR at $1300. That St John air really makes things grow. Of course it's all locked up and inaccessible because of the usual convoluted saga of being sent to Alaska to work BUT if you send in the application enclosed and you're approved, you can then send a $1300 deposit and in return get THE KEY! Wow, a steal of a deal. Or a deal of a steal. I'd almost forgotten how much fun these things can be but think I'll write back tomorrow with some more questions ... :D:D:D
