now I see how this works a little better.
I am 22, just graduated from college looking travel around for a year or so before I go back to grad school. Always wanted to live in the Islands while I am still young with not too many responsibilites.
If any one has any information on summer jobs, outdoor employment opportunities in particular, it would be most helpful.
Thank you again.

Finding employment like you are seeking will be difficult, unless you are on island...then it is easy to find, IMHO.

Hello,

Work as a beach attendant, watersports booth attendant, waitstaff is the type of work you find once on island... that means moving down without a job lined up, with money saved to keep you afloat for several weeks while you secure employment. If you contact a restaurant you will often hear 'call me when you are on island', they get lots of calls and some move and others don't.

The Ritz Carlton Hotel (on St. Thomas) sometimes has job openings for beach/pool attendants: https://www.ritzcarlton.com/corporate/employment/search.asp?
(They are one of the hotels that have an employment page. For other resorts you can call their HR dept. to make inquiries.)
