hey ladies ( and dudes because i know that you're curious)
recently i became a resident and i am busy adjusting to the differences between here and the states...
i am seeking some information about beauty salons here in st. thomas.
i am looking for a salon that offers the service of Brazilian waxing... its been a challenge to find any information about this. posting on this website was not my first idea but it seems like I've called everywhere and no one knows!
in the states i really favored going to Aveda salons...but I don't think they have made it here yet!

Wow, that's a tough one. Have you tried the hotel salons? Even calling them and asking who might do it. I didn't even know Aveda had Brazilian as an option. Good luck!

Look under Spas in the yellow pages. A couple mention waxing, face & body.

I think Oasis Salon in Redhook had it on their menu of services. I owned an Aveda salon in the states, and I so miss all the Aveda stuff. Just a reminder to ask lots of questions about anyone who offers this service. It is important that they use the proper sanitation procedures. No double dipping in the wax.

funny thing.. maybe its an islands thing.. its seems to relate to the luck i've had since moving here. i called the oasis today, appently they are the only place on stt that will do it... only one person that works there can do it.. but they are on maternity leave! i just smiled and thought " it figures"

Have you thought about taking a day trip to St John and having it done here - come over, have lunch, take care of "business" etc 🙂
It is on the list of services for waxing at the Pampered Pause salon in Cruz Bay. The owner is the nail tech but there is a girl that is there a few times per week - now, it maybe an old sign who knows, but its worth calling - their # is 779-4820
You could also try The Grapevine Salon at the Marketplace - 693-9040 - oh, and they sell some aveda products 🙂

Just thought I would let you know that I saw a place in Redhook on the marina side that offered facials, massage and waxing. You might take a look and call them. There was a big banner on the side of the building. Sorry we went by so fast I didn't get the number. Maybe someone on that end can put up the number.
