Off The Wall was closed today. I heard it was 'cause last night someone broke into the storage shed and refrigerator taking all of the booze and food. Several thousand dollars of inventory. That sucks! (td) (td) (td)

You are correct specialk -- OTW closed today (Sunday 7/10). That was the 2nd time in about a month that OTW has had this same type of burglary -after hours stealing of booz & food. Above The Cliff was also burglarized in the same fashion last night -took a lot of alcohol & food. Good for nothing punks doing it.

They should set up a game cam and bust whoever it is. Post photos of the theives at Cost U Less, Kmart, Gas Stations. Bust their chops HARD when they find out who it was.

I stopped at Above The Cliff this afternoon (after discovering OTW was closed) and was told they were out of food because they had a really busy night last night and served everything they had on hand. They had plenty of booze. (tu)

Last year I had a roommate who was a girlfriend to a man who goes by Navarro. This guy brought to the house some booze that he got for "real cheap". I wondered how he could get it for a lower cost than WICO's. Every time I hear about booze being stolen I think of the time he showed up. Makes one wonder...and this Navarro guy is well into his 60's!

After Coconuts was burglarized a few years ago, they started writing "Coconuts" in black marker on all their booze labels as a deterrent.

Cruz -- All I know is what the owner of Above The Cliff told me. Yes we did have a beverage and I noticed bottles behind the bar. I can only assume the burglars stole unopened booze bottles and some of the remaining food.

I feel for the owners and plan on up-ping my schedule of patronage!
In the states, these places would have alarms, cameras, and drop safes.

Nothing has changed --still no police substation.
After being promised one, assured the money was there for one over a year ago, plus even a sign placed by the old school house in LaVallee around election time last November stating North Shore Police Station coming soon -- well coming soon is long past.
The owners of OTW were venting on the police yesterday about this very thing -a North Shore Police substation still not happening.

I apologize for my earlier post about Above The Cliff being burglarized -- my wife said I didn't have my listening ears on correctly. :X
They had over 80 dinners Sat nite and that was the reason for the low food inventory Sunday.
As for OTW -- guess they were literally cleaned out -- over $10K in inventory.
