Hello !!

Just wanted to know without sounding silly "what is considered the north side", how far is it from the airport and are the apartment/ condo rentals expensive ?

Thanks

It's on the North side of the island of course. Hull Bay, St. Peter Mountain Road, Dorothea, Estate Mafolie are some of the areas. About a 15 minute ride from the airport and apartments go from reasonable to high over there. Mostly reasonable though.

Hello Joel & Lia,

The north side as Ronnie said is 'the north side' of the island. If you are looking at a map the northside includes basically everything from Mandahl west toward Crown Mountain. Mandahl/Wintberg/St. Joseph/Mahagony Run/Magens Bay/Peterborg are often thought of together as part of Northside. Most think of Mafolie & Mingunst heading toward Crown Mountain as the main Northside and that area includes Hull Bay, Dorothea, Bonne Resolution, Caret Bay. When you get to about Solberg on the map and down that's not quite northside anymore. And when you get past Crown Mountain its becoming West End rather then northside. For reference; downtown Charlotte Amalie is on the south side. Red Hook is on the East End. The airport is on the south side heading west, as is the university. So basically northside is a big area, depending on where exactly you are it might take longer then 15 minutes to get to the airport and prices vary greatly on apartments, you will find a range. Only condo development that comes to mind in that area is Mahogony Run.
