The issue is, with Dish we are kinda clumped with Puerto Rico for our networks. However in PR, WAPA PR purchased the rights to the MLB playoffs. WAPA PR does not air in the VI. It's a bit of a mess!!

I'm gonna try www.thefirstrow.eu tonight. I watched an NFL game with it earlier this year. They list links a minute or two before the game begins. Plug the HDMI cable in from computer to TV and you can watch on big screen. It may be delayed a minute or two from real time. Certainly not in HD. Better than nothing.

I also learned of www.wiziwig.tv from JonP but haven't tried it.

I'm having success with wiziwig.tv The other site has a lot of dumb popups and ads.

I watched last nite on 855. Fox Deportes.

The play be play en espanol was much more animated than on 913 in English.

At one point they were singing a Beach Boys song .

Thanks for the info sky. For 3 more games until the Red Sox win the series, I'll use the Slingbox. Might give wiziwig a try. I sure hope this gets fixed by next year, although based on article in Fridays paper, maybe not. no one who can make a difference seems to care.

OK folks here is the solution to watch the "World Series" and the "Redsocks" on DishNetwork!
Log on to: americadirect.com and fill out the information requested, your name, etc. Click on either Fox California, or Fox NY. Click on both for $3.99 a month. Fox is waived in our area and will not be blocked out!
Make sure you have signal on 119 Satellite. Once your payment is accepted click on "Send" for authorization to be sent to your reciever. Don't forget to add all your reciever's and smart card information! You may have to unplug your reciever for 10sec to update your "Guide".
Once your reciever is authorized enter channel 913(Fox NY) and 914(Fox CA)

wiziwig.tv worked perfectly

just heard from a friend on stx who called dish and complained. she got WS game feed for this year and 30 days of free service of some sort. i will call to do same and if more people did this, coupled with bad press on Dish from daily news, maybe next year they'll wise up!

Well, I didn't call and on my Dish on STX I have it on my menu to start at 1:00pm on Channel 152! It wasn't there until yesterday and I am assuming many called to complain and they listened!

it may say 1pm on the guide but game is at 8:15 tonight. I wonder if it is a replay of previous game.
