WAPA loves spoiling parties! No power in Wintberg where I live. Been out since maybe 8 pm.

It is a STT tradition for many years to have a power outage on Super bowl Sunday -- and if STT doesn't comply then since the game has usually been on ABC channel 8 from STX ,so then STX supplies the power outage or station difficulties.

I was wondering why the power went out. Guess Hugo doesn't wish y'all to watch the Superbowl!
I could hear the music wafting up over the hills from Hull Bay Hideaway, the power went and then there was some shouting which I presumed to be a bunch of bummed out people. I looked out to see if it was just my location but Peterborg was out as well so figured it was more extensive an outage.

I have a generator which cuts on automatically and it was nice to continue reading since I am not a football fan.
It did come back on in about an hour then went back off around a bit after 11 again.

Such is life in the tropics!;)
Maybe next year plan on watching at a friends house with DISH service and a generator.

Yes, it was only out for an hour and the outage around 11 was only for maybe two minutes where I am. No biggie!

WAPA is out again.

I saw a couple of the superbowl commercials on the news (not all) and I loved the one with the puppy and the horses.
The Doritos kid on the dog was pretty cute too.

WAPA is out again.

If you're still out you must have more of an isolated problem. (seems you do have more problems than most in your section) I'm not far from you and mine went out for 20 minutes around 10:45 AM

PS: The clock on the forum is an hour off!

It wasn't out long this morning but wish they would at least state what the problem is when they do go down.
It wasn't out from last night. As stated above, went out around 8, came back on about an hour later then went off again at 11PM but I went to sleep so have no idea when it came back on that time. It was on this morning then went back out again but not for long.
A little too much rain yesterday, perhaps?

Weird, I didn't get a second outage around 11 nor at any time during the night as my plug-in clocks were still running. Doubt it has anything to do with the rain - during the long blast of downpours in November/December, didn't lose power once. Not running a business any more I don't bother calling the line department these days but they were always most helpful in explaining the problem and approximate "fix time".

I wouldn't believe anything they say even if they did tell me why the power went out.

Your prerogative. Worked for me, that's all I can say!
