Getting a new channel starting Sunday
NFL Redzone on my dish.

NFL RedZone will be on channel 155 on Dishnetwork.
SD on sat 110 and HD on sat 61.5
They will take you live to the game with the best action and do commentary in between. It could be awesome or it might be a flop. Time will tell.

Redzone is part of the Directv football package. I have been watching it for years. How did Dish get the right to Direct's NFL package, thought that was a pretty exclusive deal. Is the NFL package available in the islands? Not to be confused with the NFL channel which everyone offers.

Directv still has the package but Dish aquired rights to the Redzone. The package is available here on DirecTV PR

Nice development!
I wish I could get them to open up the HD channels on 61.5...happy with the ones they added on 110, but there are a few more like Versus and now this one that I'd love to have in HD that they won't open up for me because I'm in the VI. Address change option is no longer a good option because I'd lose the stuff they added on the VI spotbeam if I gave them a stateside address. I wish I could find a way to get them to turn on the rest of the channels that are receivable down here!
