New Restaurant at ex-Chicken Charlie's
Some activity this week at the former Chicken Charlie's on STX east end. The entire place (store and bar/restaurant area) has been painted white. This afternoon I saw people painting The Topsider Restaurant and some nautical flags out front. At least I think it said Topsider. Maybe it was Topside. Someone was blocking the last few letters of that part of the sign.
Last night I heard they were opening an Italian restaurant there. But with a name like that and the flags I'm thinking maybe something else?
I heard it was going to be a steak place. Let the island rumor mill begin!
I wish someone would open an Indian restaurant, we already have enough Italian and Steak.

I second that. Indian would be great!
I heard that it was going to be a MEXICAN restaurant. My stomach started growling... Yum! That would be great!
A good Tex-Mex restaurant on STX would be great! Hot crunchy chips and salsa when you sit down, chili con queso cheese dip, chicken enchiladas, fajitas...my mouth is watering!
I heard it is going to be an Indian Steakhouse run by Mexicans.
Now that would be interesting! I wish we had Mexicans on island
Yes, but will they also have Sushi!!
I heard it was going to be Italian steak and pasta run by a Mexican married to an Indian Sushi master from Greece 😎

If only they would add Greek food to the menu ... 😀

I bet they are subbing out the cooking to Pakistan, by phone. :@)
I think that they should open Ten Forward. We could order anything that we want and the food replicators would prepare it perfectly. You could even store your personal recipes and order them any time.
Ginan, I'll take an Andorean Ale and some Lamb Vindaloo.
beam me up!
Engage!
Can't understand why people think Crucians are weird!!
