Just curious where your Netflix shipping facility is in the states. My movies get shipped from Brunswick, NJ and I was wondering if yours do as well.

I think my most recent batch came out of Miami (but I might be confusing them with Blockbuster which we also have.)

New Brunswick, NJ. I tried to get them to switch to a closer facility, but they said they don't do that.

On Blockbuster - does the store on STX support the Total Access Plan (with store exchanges)?

No total access plan but you can use the monthly eCoupon.

As an aside I was surprised to recently realize you can now see if your movie of interest is available in the local BlockBuster store online just like you can stateside.

Our Netflix envelopes all go to "the closest Netflix facility" in New Brunswick. NJ. With more than 50 shipping points located throughout the United States, there's no way that NJ is the closest facility. I guess they lumped the USVI into some international bucket. But since we're on the cheapie plan of 2 per month, 1 at a time, speed is not an issue.

Yes, mine are from Brunswick, too, and I always make sure I return mine at the post office first thing in the morning so they go out same day. They usually arrive in 3 days or less.

This last movie I "ordered" wasn't available at my "normal shipping facility" (per Netflix), so they're having to ship it from somewhere else (CA?), so they're also sending me the next DVD in my que so I won't have to wait so long. That's what I call service! With Blockbuster in financial difficulty, no way was I going to consider using their service.

I know you can't use the streaming here but I think I can hook the roku player I have in NY to my slingbox and be able to watch it here. It is working with some other things I have. Or it was..I think the power went off in NY due to a snowstorm.
