DISH made its award-winning, whole-home DVR even better today with the integration of Netflix into the second-generation Hopper® (Hopper with Sling®). The new Netflix app on the Hopper will give DISH customers the ability to stream Netflix movies and TV shows from their set-top box, eliminating the need to switch inputs.

Cool. Is there a charge for this? Equipment requirement? If not, great news!

Equipment required? Hopper with Sling

Easiest way is just press the blue button for Apps...
The green button turns on /off closed captioning
The red button shows you what all your tuners are doing.

Alana, I've no idea of the technicalities involved but if you go for this and need a "sling adapter" I have one you can have.

Thanks OT! I have no idea either of the technicalities involved and am actually watching much less TV these days so not sure it's worth it at this point in time. Have about 120 programs recorded, I've yet to watch. I was curious about cost.
