Netflix App now on Dish Hopper
DISH made its award-winning, whole-home DVR even better today with the integration of Netflix into the second-generation Hopper® (Hopper with Sling®). The new Netflix app on the Hopper will give DISH customers the ability to stream Netflix movies and TV shows from their set-top box, eliminating the need to switch inputs.
Cool. Is there a charge for this? Equipment requirement? If not, great news!
so i dont need to go to the computer, go to netflix, use my switch box to show the computer screen on the tv and turn on the stereo for sound. i can now go to my dvr button on the remote and go to netflix from there?
Equipment required? Hopper with Sling
You still have to pay your Netflix subscription.

How much does all that cost?
How much does all that cost?
$12 month Hopper DVR fee.
Alana, I've no idea of the technicalities involved but if you go for this and need a "sling adapter" I have one you can have.
Thanks OT! I have no idea either of the technicalities involved and am actually watching much less TV these days so not sure it's worth it at this point in time. Have about 120 programs recorded, I've yet to watch. I was curious about cost.
