I am long term STX'er that moved to STT. Have to come back to STX for a few days to do some educational sesssions. I am looking for something easy to reach, traveling over here on a tight budget. I am not opposed to renting a room in a house for just the couple days.
I am late 40's, settled, and will be gone all day. Doing some educational work on behalf of some legislation passed.
Please PM me or reach me at 360-556-6854. Nights on-island will be October 11th (have a place that night) - 12, 13, and 14.
If anyone has a vehicle I can borrow/rent (yeah right! lol) that would be great too.
Remember, I am working for the betterment of the people of the Territory. Also, you can write off the room/car rental as tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Check http://WWW.airbnb.com. They allow people to post sofas, though I haven't seen any for St Croix last I looked.

stxchick2012 are you the woman that is the USVINORMAL spokesperson or something like that. The marijuana bill. Sorry I don't know what it is called. There are people on St. Croix that are supporters of that bill that are posters on this message board. Maybe they can help.

Thanks! Yes, You got it right! I am heading over to hold educational sessions and meet with individuals and small groups to teach the difference between hemp and marijuana. Will be talking about how hemp can help the Territory and encourage people to vote YES for hemp on the ballot.
So, I'd appreciate it if you would pass me around to those who are pro- who live on stx. I don't really have time to figure out who is who and where.

If that was to me - I could read you the bill inside and out. I am with the organization doing the educating on hemp to get people to understand the difference between hemp and marijuana. We will be on Addie Ottley's Face to Face on October 17th and various radio stations all month. We are holding round tables with various sectors of the community and much more.
I just need a place to stay for 3 nights on STX the 12, 13, and 14th. You can write it off on your taxes - as a donation to our non-profit.

I was thinking you could post your request on whichever sites covered that bill. The supporters may have a room. But I may have read about it in the Avis which isn't online.
