Need rental home/apt Sept 2008 STT
Looking for one bedroom rental, preferrably 6 month lease. Looking to move within 3 months.
In case unavailable, any suggestions on a hotel/motel/inn to stay in for about 10 days while searching for a rental? Thanks.
There will be lots available in September...keep checking the Island Trader at http://islandtrader.vidaily.com/
But, it's been my experience that the landlords really don't take you serious until they see your face...lots of people 'plan' on coming, then just don't show, so be prepared to get a place like the Crystal Palace for a week or two while tracking down a permanent place...Ronnie?
Thanks. All seems a bit overwhelming, but didn't expect it to be too easy. Wondering if I should try to have a job in place and home situated prior to arriving, but seems that will be a little difficult to do. Trying to figure out how to get my car there too. I'd really like to head that way within the next 30 days. I'd hate to get there and then have no luck finding a job. Your thoughts?
Thanks Marty, but that's what I offer my Villa Fairview location for. People just arriving on the island will have a hotel/motel type place to stay for a month while they seek out the proper apartment. As I always advise, get a job first, then when you know where you are working, look for a place nearby. Not to live in the West and work on the East end.
hi ronni. please post the email adress or number to your Villa Fairview please
The website for Ronnie's is http://villafairview.com/ and the phone number according to the website is 866-502-2277 or 340-777-2277

I have a fully furnished studio apartment available on the East End of STT in a gated condo community with a pool and beach on site.
PM me if you're interested.
