Need for copying/printing services

Im researching a move to the Virgin Islands and was wondering among other things if there is a market already existing or maybe room for one regarding the copying/printing industry? I've been involved in such for a number of years now in a small college community in north central Florida and was wondering with UVI right there if anyone thought you could make a decent living in the islands doing it. It's pretty much something everyone needs from time to time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Chris

Hello Chris,

On St. Thomas there is Copy Max (Office Max) which I think a lot of people use. There are also a few local businesses. You might check the yellow pages at www.viphonebook.com to see how many, and might call them and ask about their services and how much so you can do some research. I attended the university several years ago and vaguely remember them having a little campus printing office that made flyers, booklets for plays, large numbers of copies... vague memory. Students used the copier in the library (10 cents a copy) so did professors and there were also copiers in the division offices. I don't do much copying or printing so really don't have a feel for how many people are offering this service here already.
