Need a vehicle
Why didn't you just pay off the lender with the proceeds of the sale of house?
A good, reliable, road-worthy vehicle costs much more here than in the states to get what you need for your family. A beater is not going to cut it.
To be honest I owed $22k on it. Dad wanted a truck. Did an equity transfer. We both won. I would have been sad to see my truck get VI High 5's and dinged up.
Thank you MS411.
I appreciate any help. Put a wanted ad on craigslist too. Going to see a car tomorrow
Good luck! I see vehicles for sale all the time at Plaza. The one that caught my attention over the weekend was not the vehicle for you, but I liked how they painted the info on their window.
Did you find a vehicle? I saw a 2004 Chevy Ventura at Plaza today. Took photos and phone number if interested.
I will be moving to STX in November... I have been back and forth debating whether I should ship my 94 Chevy Cheyenne or sell it and buy one down there. I posted on here a while back looking for advice and most folks (thank you to those who offered advice) said ship it. The closer I come to moving and the more I read on here the more I lean towards shipping it. SpartyGrad95, I wish you luck! I don't think I could afford to rent one for as long as you have while on the hunt.
I may be selling my 1993 Jeep Wrangler on STX soon. I shipped it down in July and prior to shipping had them put new brakes, rotors, calipers and tires on it. Also had a complete tune up, new seats and just had the suspension done 2 weeks ago for a better ride on the island. I'd like to see $4500 for it, but I'll take $4000 if someone on STT would like it as I understand it would cost to ship it over, and if you wanted to come see it you'd have the expense of flying over, etc. Please PM me about it if you'd like to discuss it. I have photos and am happy to answer questions.
RandyNTaj you should post in the classifieds.
I will. Thank you.
