Have some visitors on st croix, and one of the children is getting ill, not emergency but sore ear and throat etc so want to take her to someone. Any suggestions? Her insurance doesn't cover here, so have no network to consult for a name...

I'd go the see Dr. Prassad in La Grande Princesse. He takes new patients and walk ins. Its called Primary Care. Right next to Food Town.

Thanks to all for the info. I haven't gone to an MD in stx since Charles Braslow, (who passed away recently, and will be missed as a nice person), so appreciate the names. I will see who works out for us tomorrow.

WHAT, When did he die. he was my favorite dr.
prassad might be cheaper than the acute center.

This is kind of late but we went to the Urgicare and saw a Dr. Campbell last August for a severe ear infection (adult but I think they take kids). We had a really good experience. They were located pretty close to the hospital. Our US Insurance worked. We did not know it would work so we bought travel medical and they also picked up the copay. I hope you found someone and the your little one feels better.
