My husband passed on tonight

Never knew your husband and don't think we've ever met, but like many here, I've been through something on this scale, and my thoughts are with you.

Pamela, so sorry to hear that he'll no longer be a physical presence, but his spirit can never be extinguished. You've given so much to him as well as people on this board, that if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. It's your time to let others give to you.

Im sorry for your loss Pamela; I did not know your husband but I can relate so well because I lost my wife who used to be the office mgr at yacht haven marina I hope you will be ok and yes they are in a better place.. god love you sweetie and if you need anything please contact me. Ie lied here a long time and left a long time but back on the island. You take care of yourself and harl and I know it's hard.
I will always be your friend and there for you.

Thank you all. I had a dream - hallucination - vision - whatever you want to call it yesterday. He is in a lovely place with his mom, dad and my very favorite uncle. He told me goodbye and to be happy. I am well. As Anna (from the the other board) Toad and Tart pointed out I now have a journey of emotions. There will be good days and bad days and at the end of the journey I will find that I am probably not the same person I was but I will be happy if that is what I strive for. So many many thanks to all of you. I am peace with it although still unutterably sad. He was my best friend for many. many years. I am well with lots of thanks for your well wishes. It is nice to know I am not alone.

Pam , i'm very sorry to hear.
i had the same sort of vision when my dad passed.
He let me know he was ok, & I saw flashbacks of many nice memories from the past.
i too thought I was hallucinating.
7 years latter, I still think of, & cherish that vision, it was very powerful.

Many years ago when my dad died, I had a dream about meeting him in the kitchen after his death and talking to him. The dream felt real and the conversation was specific and memorable. It really unsetteld me for a while, then became a gift.

I don't even know you, yet I feel at least some connection because we're all part of the small VI family. Therefore, please accept my condolences. The sun will rise tomorrow.

I have adopted a new plan of action. 1. Breathe. 2. Get out of bed once a day. 3. Take out the trash once a week. So far, so good. Still crying at moments when I am not concentrating on something very specific but it it is working out.
