* Hi, I have been thinking about moving to one of the islands.
I would like to live on one of the less populated ones.
I am raising my Grandchildren and we are very simple people requiring a small, cheep, humble place. Away from much.
Can you give me any info. Such as which island would be better and what I am looking at in the way of rent.
I dont want to be in a tourist place at all.
I would like to be in a place where I am needed tho. I like to teach.
Thanks
Brandi

I would recommend St. Croix. It is the biggest of the USVI, but the quietest with less people per square mile!
They always need teachers around here!

Hello Brandi,

Yes definitely St. Croix. Less crowded than St. Thomas and less expensive than St. John or St. Thomas.

Not a lot of tourists here either. (Which is kind of unfortunate for the economy, but kind of nice in a way.)

Bless Up,
J.

Brandi - St. Croix sounds like your place. If you go to the moving guide on this web site and read about St. Croix and the general information on living in the islands that will help you. Also should get the Settlers Handbook so you can read more about the islands - http://www.vitraders.com that will help you a lot.

Teaching try http://www.teachislands.vi

Good Luck -- Islander
