currently im in ny, i heard of the avis but i cant seem to find them online since im in the states i cant get a copy, i wanted to try to stay away from realtors bc tehy dont usually do anything for free but in this situation i may be pressed to

check out century 21. sandra davis is the property manager out of their frederiksted office. i have rented a property from them in the past and had no problems. she should be able to email you with some specs on some houses/apts that you may be interested in.

You might have better luck if you found a private renter that has a split home for rent. They can be flexable and will negociate a price that is fair for the both of you. Look in the newspaper(VI Daily News). I don't recomend a condo...very few decent ones and all overpriced

since im not on the island i cant get the paper, ive called alot of the ad's online on daily news but no luck, ill have a few weeks in a hotel when i get there to research while im on the island. hopefully it will turn up more leads. i saw how pricey some of those condos get. its rediculos!!!

ny--www.onepaper.com has listings of sites for all VI newspapers, though the Avis and the Island Trader are not listed and have no website. Your best bet, like you mentioned, is to go for a few weeks and then you can see the places. I want to let you know that many places may be rented out by now. The Hess Oil Refinery gets 100's of employee's from all over the world to work there for long periods of time. The company pays good money to the realtors and or private renters for their stay. Realtor told me recently that Hess took all of their rentals until the beginning of 2006. You may want to look into this further before you go. It may save you time and hassle.

Howdy ny, we have a nice condo for rent, thought we had a renter but it may be falling apart, not sure. It is only 1 bedroom, but we feel it is very nice, in a secure area on STX. If the other guy fall outs, maybe we can talk soon. We are going thur a management company & will be asking $1200/mo. We rented a 1 week thing to terry on the board, you could ask him how he liked the place, sounds like he thought it was very nice.

Our condo is in Questa Verde, about 5-6 minutes from Christiansted. It is fully furnished, king size bed, AC, W/D, cable TV, DVD, jaccuzi tub/shower, 1100 sq ft unit, view of south shore, securit gate/fence, pool. We have photo's if you give us an email, we can send some. Let me know

Fogot to ask if Queste Verde has their own website or anywhere on the net I can find photos of the place (besides the realtors that have the condos for sale). Forgot what they looked like while on the island. Saw a photo a while back of Queste Verde and remembered it showed a nice outside patio/balcony and noticed your place didn't have one. Do they Exist? Is it a quiet place? Major Crime? How are the neighbors? Also, do you plan on selling and or leasing? E-mail me back if you want.

I have never seen a Questa Verde webpage & we have looked, so I'm guessing they don't have one.

We have a one bedroom condo at the Reef condo complex that we bought in April and we are looking to rent it. It's on the East end of the island in an area which is both beautiful and safe. The condos are in the style of villas. It has two floors, front and back patios and one and a half baths. If anyones interested feel free to e-mail us.
