[Solved] Moving to STT need help finding house and work
So I’m planning on moving to STT. And while I can’t have all my ducks in a row I’d like to have them as best as possible. So I know finding work and housing I need to be on the island. So I was thinking Airbnb for X amount of time till I find a place, just so I have a home base. Second is finding work, I know high season is December 15 and I can definitely move down by first few days of December but should I move even sooner before Dec 15 to give me more time to find work and not miss opportunities? I’d love to work on a boat but could settle for something on the beach/close to the water. I’ve always enjoyed boating and the joy it’s brings me would be fun to give others to experiences as well as see the beauty that the USVI has!!! I have around $50k and I’m 24 and single. Really finding a job and place to rent are my biggest concerns. Any advice, tips, connections or anything or words of encouragement would be helpful!
Thank you!
Financially looks like you shouldn’t have a problem, the season should be well underway well before December 15th. Once the hurricane threat starts to wind down, in the next 30 days or so, things start to bounce back fairly fast. Good luck, should be a great experience.
