I saw some others posts with places that we can rent from so I thought I would contact them.

Add Bowsky Auto Sales and Rentals to your list. 340-779-2600. They're on the Smith Bay Road and are well known for term rentals to part-time residents, permanent residents who have their car in the shop for weeks, newcomers such as yourselves, etc.

I am excited reading about your move preparations as I am trying to do the same. I would be moving in the off season but toward the end of it. It seems there are pros and cons to both. Off season you could find cheaper temporary housing but jobs are not as plentiful. And on season temp housing is expensive but jobs more plentiful. That sound right islanders?
