Moving to St. Croix
Hey everyone!
I have been accepted to the University on St Croix and will be moving down there sometime in late July. I have looking at this website and a few others for about 6 months now and have found some really great advice. However i am having trouble finding any kind of good website with available housing options for long term rent. Ive tried craigslist but most of what I'm finding on there is either for St. Thomas or is just a vacation rental. Any advice on a good website or a person to contact who could help would be welcome. Thanks so much!
we have used coldwell bankers in gallows bay. i dont have the phone number but im sure someone here does

Hi,
Thanks Sky!
I do have a small efficiency that will be available sometime in July that might work for you. Are you going to have a car? That's very important, no matter where you live on STX. Our apartments are very well located, convenient to most everything on island, but just not close enough to walk to most places. We are about 5-6 miles from UVI, no public transportation going that way from our place. It is a great neighborhood though. My husband and I live here, as well as a live in maintenance man. Your parents would like that!!:D
You can take a look at our website at http://www.virginislandsrentals.com. Take a look at the page for Efficiency 2B, and let me know via PM, or email casita37@hotmail.com, if you would like more info.
The rent is $750 per month, including Dish TV, wireless Internet and garbage pick up. The unit is fully furnished, including house wares. Electric and water are additional, but already on.
We offer the apartment either short term or long term, so you could get to know the island, start to meet people, and then determine if the location, etc. is right for you without being tied to a long term lease. I'll be glad to discuss options with you if you want to email or call 340-718-6744.
All I can say is that I hope your experience at UVI-STX is a lot better than mine has been. I haven't liked it at all, and I'm transferring to an online program in the fall.
Haha Juanita...i have actually already been in contact with you 🙂 you e-mailed me about the efficiency a few days ago (which i really appreciate by the way!) im not sure i will have a car at first, it may take me a little while to get one. i am planning on buying once shortly after getting there however.
To everyone else thank you for the responses! i will deffinitly try the coldwellbankers site.
