Moving in Spring

Hello,
I have posted prior to this post about moving to St. Croix and bringing our Masonry family business to the island. I received really good responses to it, so here we come. My question is this.....does anyone know how hard it is to get an Administrative position on the island i.e Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant etc.? My understanding is that you should be on the island before searching. Is this true? If I could land a job prior to spring, it would make the husband much happier as he is ready to make the move tomorrow. Any help and guidance would be appreciated. Just to avoid the subject...we have made many pre-move visits to St. Croix, wanted to get that out of the way. Thanks and regards!

Here's a start. Don't expect to make the same wage as you would in the states for that type of position.

Check at the Buccaneer Resort. But yes, you probably will have to be on island to secure a job.

Thank you for your replies, I do have a great up to date resume, and I know that a salary for my position on the island will not even come close to what I am currently making, but I will happily make that sacrifice for the opportunity the reside in St. Croix!!! 😀
