My partner and I have decided to open a restaurant in St. Croix everything is finalized. Now we are moving there and we are in need of cheap airfare and we would like to rent a home or condo on the island. We don't want to pay no more than 1500 a month if anyone knows of any good areas please feel free to email me. kendradykes@msn.com.

Thanks

Airfare - Depends on where you are coming from. Try Spirit airlines.

Good Luck on your restaurant. What type of food?

Hello Kendra,

I am also from the Orlando area (Clermont) when I fly to STX I use either Spirit or AA into San Juan, then use American Eagle from San Juan to St. Croix, I have found it less expensive to purchase tickets separately on each airlines official web-site, rather than using Travelocity, or orbits. I will be on island March 3-6. Where is the restaurant located, and when will it be open?

Regards,
Dante

I have a concept that will ONLY work on the Islands. (Stole it from my best freind in Maui!)

Does anyone have an annual Profit & Loss for a restaurant in the Virgin Islands they'd like to email to me?

I'm a CPA and will be opening the restaurant in about nine months or so, but need two-or-three P & L's to analyze for my proforma.

It'll be in St. Johns to start, but will go to about five locations pretty quickly!

Bob

I just checked flights for a friend of mine who would be flying out of MCO in mid-March to STT. Spirit had round trip @ $474. American offered $379. That's before the "hidden" charges (i.e., taxes, airport fees, blah blah blah).

Kendra - when do you expect to arrive on STX? Knowing an arrival date helps to determine if there are rental properties that will be available when you need one.

No fruity.. FlyByZoom posted his initial message inside of several threads when he first hit the message board. That's part of what made it look like spam from a con artist and set Island Ed on the warpath to protect anyone from sending this guy the private dirt on their business without thinking it through first.

Only two threads. And, I have received all I wanted and more.

The Islands are a unique place with a unique collection of characters, all with storied pasts and hidden agendas.

My experience, so far, has been overwhelmingly positive, via private messages, and considerably amusing from public ones.

Interesting to me how many people who contribute to this board actually stand to profit from the naivete' and lack of knowledge re: Various things islandic of the erstwhile newbies and fortune seekers.

I am vacating a beautiful place less then 10 minutes from Christiansted. 2 Bedroom, 1 bathroom, all furnished, tile floors, 4 post mahogany beds. AWesome views and very safe and secure area. I am leaving the end of March, so if you are interested, I can point you to the right person. Oh, and it's 1400$ a month, but awesome!
