Hello all,
I will be relocating back to St. Croix after 18 years of trotting the globe and livinig in NY - I'm looking for a 3bedroom apt for 800-900 in Christeansted. Also, feel free to forward job postings that may fit my back ground which is Media producer, Media Buyer,or Fashion Assitant Buyer. Thank you much in advance.

I posted a message a few days ago inquiring about STX locals who had moved back to STX or were thinking about moving back. I have lived in NYC for the past twevle years and also had my fair share of travels. However, I am planning to relocate to STX in the near future. Actually, I will be visiting home (STX) in two weeks--looking forward to it. I have missed home after living away for so long.
When were you planning to relocate? I will post if I hear of anything in that price range.

Hello there to both of you! I wanted to give you a heads up that you might run into trouble in finding a 3-bedroom apartment for the price range you mentioned. I do know of one 3 bedroom apartment open across from my home, but the rent is $1,300 and 2 mos. security. It is .5 miles from downtown Christiansted.
When I first saw this, I thought it was high, but then after checking, it seems to actually be on the lower side.
I wish you the best, but just wanted to give you some idea of the current rates.
A great resource for pursuing such questions is Tom P. at Calabash Real Estate. I call him when PMVers are looking for something specific to rent.
