Has any one moved a vehicle from the mainland? Or does anybody know of someone who has? Just curious about cost and what not.

You can save time and money by calling Lee at Managed Freight. He'll do everything for you, including handling the paperwork hassle with taxes and registering the car when the car arrives. He's a cool and efficient guy. Call him toll-free at (888)820-8475

Take a look at the archives. Moving a car sounds harder than it is. Even if you make the arrangements yourself. We shipped two cars last year with Tropical with no problem.

Search the archives of the board -- there are a lot of posts on moving vehicles and getting them registered that will give you a variety of options. Prices depend on where you are shipping it from -- we paid $1600 for door to port service from Arlington, VA to St. Croix.
