Looking at a car on STT that I would like to move to STX. Anybody have any suggestions? A google search has been less than helpful, of course..

No, there are no car ferries and only limited passenger options available. The 40-mile distance and the sea trench between the islands makes for a long, rough crossing.

The Norma H will transport your vehicle STT/STX I believe. Check with them:

This isn't like the states where there are car ferries, like the Staten Island Ferry and others like it around the states from Stt to Stx. Or like the car ferries/barges from Stt to Stj.
Maybe Islander should post under the Ferry Schedule that there are no ferries between Stt and Stx that ships cars. This question has been asked more than once.

Dan, I've been talking to Ian at Norma H to move our cars STX to STT.... they do allow you to pack your car full because it doesn't have to go through customs.
There is a checklist of HOW TO on the Norma H website.... it involves going to the Lt. Governer's office (Which I don't really understand) and then to the DMV....
