More on nursing on st croix
Hello every one! Does anyone know what the average pay for RN's there is? Does the hospital do 12 or 8 hr shifts? Thanks!

Not sure how current it is.
Bottom of the page indicates that those figures were last updated in 2009 so they're quite out of date. Best advice for the OP is to call the hospital directly and get the information from someone in HR. Much use is made here of traveler nurses who come on 3-6 month assignments. This is an ideal way to see if island living and the hospitals here suit you. There have been several threads on the subject which you can find by using the search engine - just change the search parameter to "all dates" otherwise the search only goes back 30 days. Good luck!
Hard to see on my phone. Thanks OT.
There is currently a big stink because the CEO raised the salaries of the nurses at JFL. The salaries at SRMC did not change. They are all in the same union. The Schneider nurses are in mourning. They wore black today, the start of Nurse's Week.

I think I heard that the STX salaries for RNs were rose to 70K.
I don't think the STT nurses should be in mourning, since they haven't experience layoffs like their STX counterparts.
I thank all off you for your input!
