‘I WILL TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH’: J.F.L. BOARD REVERSES COURSE AS TROY SCHUSTER GETS SET TO ‘REVEAL ALL’ DURING SENATE HEARING
Ken Mapp has a master's degree from Harvard.
http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2010/10/29/harvard-school-state-one/
No, he doesn't. He is a Harvard "graduate," but only of the advanced management program, which grants a certificate. Mapp has no bachelor's degree, so he cannot possibly have a master's degree from Harvard (which requires a bachelor's degree as a prerequisite).
That is exactly what I said. He has no BS/BA. Hence he can't have masters. I am sure has has Harvard tee or hoodie to match his certificate. I am curious if it is actually possible to bridge educational gap and jump into Masters in management after HS. The intellectual gap would seem to be too large. One would need a huge amount of tutoring and spoon feeding to bridge the gap.
The Harvard Aadvanced Management Program is designed to introduce personnel moving from a "specialty" (engineering, marketing, etc.) into the world of general corporate management. Depending on what the company is willing to pay, the course can last 1 week, 2 weeks, a month or 3 months. It focuses on financial tools and analysis with some HR thrown in. It is mostly team exercises, stressing using the indidual strengths of the members. There are no grades given to the participants but the impressions of student's performance is reported back to the sponsoring organization. It can be a great networking opportunity for the student. The 3 month cost is more than it would cost for a full MBA at over 90% of the colleges in this country. But there is no "educational" credit for any of it (even if you return to Harvard for a real MBA).
One notable thing about West Indians is if they are given a tiny little bit of power they will exploit it to upset the customer.
Went to a hospital in rural Kansas once. One notable thing about whites is that they are horribly inefficient and drug-addled.
one thing about rural southerners... is that what you meant to say, or are you racist.
Or are you very ineptly trying to prove some point with your hyperbolic rhetoric?
its exaggerated crap like this that breaks down the conversation....
"West indian" = / = race
"west indian" = regional people (no race inferred)
Funny how this forum lets blatant racist remarks slide as long as they are against the "right" race.
I smell leftism here....

Hmmmm. I only smelled sarcastic analogy.
‘I WILL TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH’: J.F.L. BOARD REVERSES COURSE AS TROY SCHUSTER GETS SET TO ‘REVEAL ALL’ DURING SENATE HEARING
I almost feel sorry for the JFL Board members.
Why?
The board looks totally incompetent. Shuster looks really bad. Okolo was his protege.
They still call Okolo as Dr. The only place he can be called a doctor in NM as his doctorate is not recognized elsewhere.
I almost feel sorry for the JFL Board members.
Is Evangelista actually on the JFL board? If so you might feel differently if you had some experience with him. He is also on the board of an organization I am associated with and he behaves quite badly.
What an unholy mess:

If anyone was remotely qualified for either of the C positions, they'd stay very far away from this shit show
The board needs to be disbanded.
Someone should beg Mayo/Cleveland/etc to take control and establish a board and executives and get the Hospital on solid footing.
Doubt they'd want to.
Doubt they'd want to.
As I keep saying ....
sell the hospitals to an experienced company (non-profit or for-profit)
then pay the vendors including WAPA with proceeds
start a community health foundation with net from the sale
these hospitals have great business value if managed properly

You can keep saying it till de goat dem come home but, once you move here, you'll come to understand that any effort to apply the principles of common logic will be wasted and only lead to intense frustration.
But you should, of course, exercise your right to vote when eligible and participate in community matters - and run for office too!

There is a point when logic has to prevail.
This formula I propose has been used across the US to save sick hospitals.
I'll just keep piping up every so often. I am and will be an outsider - and will respect that when I'm on island.
Sometimes if you say something often enough, though, someone else takes it up as his/her grand idea and runs with it.
There is a point when logic has to prevail.
Very occasionally it does.
The Source is placing the blame on the hospital, not the BOD

Nobody knows anything. "can't remember" or passes the buck and it seems that new counsel should be hired to replace the current one.
Replace the entire board.
People have to volunteer to serve, or agree to an appointment, and then they are vetted thru the channels and the legislature.. which is why they only have 5 on the BOD now, and not the required 9. Getting a whole new BOD will be a difficult task.
This one is most ineffectual given their history of inefficiency, conflict, bad decisions, etc.
remember back when someone wanted to put in a state of the art hospital but the government refused?? after hugo

Hess (HOVIC) offered long before Hugo, and it was refused.

If you didn't watch the Senate committee hearing last night it's available at legvi.org
Senators kicked some hospital board ass. I was pretty impressed.
