money exchange

I would imagine at the bank. There are no currency exchangers waiting at the airports/other places, here to give you a better deal as when you arrive in a foreign country.

I was told Banco Popular, but haven't been yet.
I just checked their website, and it states they do!

i think that is the only one he did not check. all of the other banks say they do not exchange. thanks so much picaflores

Banco Popular will change money for you, but it takes a couple of days if you are buying foreign currency. If you are converting foreign currency to American dollars, it just takes a few minutes. We have done both a few times.
