Hey Meg,
I noticed in a few of your posts that you are from Pittsburgh. I thought I was the only one. Anyway I was just curious what your plans are for moving (timeframe, work etc.)
Personally, the weather has me ready to jump off a bridge, but I just keep telling myself I'll be in paradise soon enough. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your quest for a way out of this town.

Hi! A fellow pittsburgher? thats awesome. My plans are not completely set in stone actually. I have applied for a job in youth ministry, and I have my final interview in two weeks. If I get hired, I would move down after I graduate from college (I go to school in Harrisburg). I am thinking that would mean March 2006, since I graduate in December 2005 and have quite a few loose ends to tie up after graduation.
I also hate this weather. Its like a mix of London and Siberia, depending on which day of the week it is...what are your plans for moving? job? which island? also which part
of pittsburgh are you from? im from butler...

I'm 19, and I am going to flight school right now. I just recieved my private pilot license and I'm starting my instrument training (flying in clouds) this week. I fly out of allegheny county airport and live nearby but I am originally from Washington PA.
I would like to find a job island hopping and right now im thinking St. Croix for my move. Unfortunatly I will need a few more years to get the experience and hours to be hired by a respectable company. Hopefully withing the next 2 years I will be on my way.
Good luck to you with whatever you do. And since it looks like you will get there before me, you can let me know how it feels to live in paradise.

Did i meet you in Station Square on New Years? I feel like Ive heard that exact life story (pilot, allegheny county airport, caribbean) in line at the budweiser booth...haha. anyways, either way it sounds like a plan and i cant wait to flee the snow here!

Actually it's funny you mention that because i was about this close |----------| to being at station square for new years. Did you get to see Rusted Root? How was the show?

i left, it was too crazy...i heard them for about two minutes. but i heard from my brother (who is 18) that it actually just got out of control and people were getting hurt. he had to hit an old guy to keep him away from his 17-year old girlfriend! But i do love rusted root...
