Big question here! Does Medical coverage from the states or Medicare convert over to STX.. Infact, does Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healh Care recongnized in STX... Please answer quickly, Just got in contract with a Condo, so excited..Now my Dad is thinking of buying a place too.... How cool.. but he needs to know if this is workable..

Medicare is a National policy (US) treated the same as on the mainland. Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health care are recognized but that depends on your state and policy you have. There are restrictions on residency each is different, most have worldwide coverage with a specified time period.
