Went to an announcement ceremony for this in mid-March 2013, Jimmy Buffett played, etc. Glad to see almost a year later something is coming of it, was starting to think they'd called it off. Heard rumor that the reason it was delayed was because WAPA wanted them to pay all the old resort's bills.

Its amazing how quickly hotel projects get approved on St. Thomas. But over here on St. Croix...another story altogether.
