In today's Daily News:
"The government spent $202,252 to purchase two 2016 Chevrolet Suburbans to transport Gov. Kenneth Mapp."

He was bound and determined to have those new vehicles! Considering all the important things that money could've been spent on, this is just a slap in the face for the VI public.
I'm truly disgusted.

I hope one of them hits the deepest of the many craters on our roads. Oh, wait . . . no I don't, because we'll then be paying for repairs while the masses will still be driving around those same holes.

Cheese and bread... the king dances while Rome falls. The almost $300K could have fixed the JFL AC system or the shitty roads and on and on.

Some nice person with a sense of humor painted around an extremely large pothole (crater) in fluorescent, hot pink and labeled it: Mapp Hole.
He's got to have the new cars to go with the new $6 MILLION DOLLAR
Governor's Mansion he wants built because Catherineberg apparently isn't grand enough for our luxury loving monarch.
I wanna know when his big behind is going to start serving the people instead of himself and his cronies. Frankly, if I was a senator with a shred of accountability, I'd be ripping the big buffoon a new one, right now.

I don't have the time to look this up right now and provide the link, but a creative soul in the UK started spray-painting a facsimile of a particular part of the male anatomy around each the worst potholes where he lived. They got patched quickly. 😉

Most expensive Chevy Suburban stateside has MSRP of approximately $56,000. Customized to accommodate Governor plus shipping to VI & taxes cost roughly another $45,000 . How many ways can you say outrageous?
