Hello. What type of shopping centers or malls are on stx. I have done some research and it looks like there might be a mall on stx but not sure.

K-mart and Home Depot.

On the west end we have Sunshine Mall. Home of K-mart west.

In center island we have Sunny Isle shopping center. Home of K-mart east.

Between the two we have Home Depot with a promise of more to come. Who knows if anything else will materialize.

Sunny Isle around mid island is more of a strip mall. Lots of stores all with outdoor entries. The Office Max, Champs and PayLess that speee1dy mentioned are all here.

Sunshine Mall by Kmart west has an indoor mall feel but there are only 3 stores(Mariannes, Payless, a dollar type store), a crossfit gym and a branch of Barry University.

Home Depot is just Home Depot for now with rumors always abound of more to be added to that site.

There's a couple other little strip mall type places in Peter's Rest and Barren Spot with local businesses and few restaurants mixed in.

Mostly we just have strip malls. 1 I don't see mentioned is Golden Rock which has a Pueblo Supermarket & a few empty stores & a bit of Vitrans traffic.

Sunshine mall scares me. I expect zombies to appear from the empty stores. The place is so dead.

It's probably the only mall where it echoes when you talk.

Tutu Park Mall on STT is the same - vacant stores and generally creepy. It was built over an old Indian burial ground with only the barest of an archeological search done before the 'dozers prevailed and it was opined by many at the time that no good would come of such desecration!

Sunshine mall also has a pretty good sports footwear store (can't remember name) but it's about the only place to find soccer cleats - even if they never carry any in your size you can still browse.

Let's not forget the internet mall where the vast majority of goods come from.

I was wondering if Champs closed down, since it wasn't mentioned. I heard someone once mentioned that our Foot Locker was one of the top selling stores in the country.

If you hop onto the search engine you'll find several related threads - this recent one includes some information on Amazon shipping:

Some items from some companies can't be shipped, some companies don't ship here period but in general it's not complicated Bulky items which can't be shipped via USPS can be shipped to a stateside freight shipper for transshipment here.
