This makes me think that people would sign just about anything. There was recently a report about a petition to remove the First Amendment from the U.S. Constitution. The petition was circulated at some Ivy League college, and generated a lot of signatures.

People will sign anything to make themselves feel good about something.

But when it comes to them actually putting sweat into it, they are nowhere to be seen.

While it's true that there is a senator willing to sponsor the bill, I am sorry I ever mentioned it since you insist on making such a big FRIGGING deal out of it. I didn't realize the uncalled for nonsense that would ensue. I was excited. It is not my announcement to make as to whom the senator is. It should be good news that there actually is someone willing. This is not the first go around with trying to have cockfighting fighting in the VI banned. It may not be the last but it's better to try than to do absolutely nothing. It took decade to get an animal cruelty bill paused but people didn't give up the first time.

You either help or hinder which is what you're doing. Give it a rest.
